OCTOBER

October.

October walkers stick in hand

Walk to the rhythm of natures band

Away from the city sound and smell

To hill and moor and broch and fell

Taking in God's clean fresh air

The wonders that abound out there

Country life and country smell

Clears the head and heart out well

The buzz of bee's among the flowers

Echo's of bird song piercing the air

Uplifting the heart to lofty towers

Of piece we find when walking there

Thank you Father for your love and care

In providing for our every need

Help us to do your will and to share

As pleases you in our prayer and deed

Stan Davenport.
