MAY

May

May is a month of Garlands and Flowers

Bluebells and Cowslips and Happy Hours

A pretty girl crowned the Queen of the May

Chases the darkness of winter away

Laughing youths carry her litter high

The girl smiles and waves as she passes by

Visitors who have come to survey

Applaud the scene in time honoured way

Wells are dressed with colourful flowers

Amazing patterns that take many hours

Of dedicated skill and care

A unique beauty displayed right there

Bluebells Cowslips and Forget-me-nots

Add their spacial magic to What's

To be found in May when Morris Dancers

Maypoles and Chimney Sweeps

Appear in the answers.
