LISTEN TO THE ECHO

LISTEN TO THE ECHO

Listen to the echo,as it rolls around  the world;
  Like wave lengths from a mobile phone
The sound may still be heard.

Listen to the echo, vibrate across the years,
  The shepherds stunned to silence
As glory filled their ears.

Listen to the echo, a faint and distant cry,
  Creator of the universe
Soothed by lullaby.

Listen to the echo, as faithful shepherds come
  Believing hearts and simple faith
Their offering to God's Son.

Listen to the echo, with joy the weary three
  Brought  frankincense and gold and myrrh
Messiah, Lord to Thee.

Listen to the echo, amid the rowdy throng;
  Son of God, our Saviour gave His blood
For mankind's wrong.

Listen to the echo, Christ's Day draws ever near,
  For those who own Christ as God's Son,
Hell's terrors hold no fear.

Listen to the echo,pulsataing through your soul;
  Resounding deeper,  clearer
'Til you reach your heavenly goal.
