IVOR THE SPIDER

IVOR THE SPIDER

Ivor the spider’s a very nice fellow

With long hairy arms and spots of yellow

Young insects and flies beware! Be polite

For if Ivor is hungry he may fancy a Bite

He’s a shy little person preferring the dark

Of holes in brick walls or trees in the park

With eight wrigley legs and eyes on his head

He’s not the best friend to find in your bed

When Sports Day comes round Ivor’s 'Top-of-the-Pop’s'

With matching trainers and four pairs of socks

Running and Long Jump he wins them by far

Then in the Obstacle - why - Ivor’s the Star!

Internet, Megga Byte leave him confused

But when we say ‘web-site’ Ivor’s amused

If in a cupboard you meet with a spider

Don’t be afraid it just might be IVOR
