CHRISTMAS

Christmas

Christmas comes but once a year

With merry laughter and good cheer

But let us remember the crucial reason

Behind this joyous festive season

Baby Jesus - born in a manger stall

Was sent by his father to teach us all

To show us the way by word and deed

And by example to peacedully lead

Then to die on a cross at Calvary

That all our sins should be washed free

To find places in heaven for you and me

What greater love could there  ever be

Thank you Father for all that you have done

Your love and devotion our salvation has won

Please forgive the thoughtless and sinful way

That like mindless sheep we often tend to stray

Help us to follow the ways you have shown

Will lead to heavenly joys of our own.
