APRIL

April

The azure hue of a bright April Day

Sweeps the gloomy feel of Winter away

Flowers and trees on hearing the call

Hurry to dress in time for it all

The magic of Spring hangs in the air

It can't be seen but you know it's there

You can sense the action taking place

In this wonderous annual Springtime race

Easter- eggs,  chickens and April- showers

Add to our memories of happy hours

When sudden showers that wet us through

Give way to sky's of corn-flower blue

Jesus died for us all on an April- Day

Nailed to a cross on a sandy hill

That our sins would all be washed away

An unwavering love that is with us still

If you need his help raise your hands in prayer

He hears when you pray and is always there.
