A NEW LIFE

A NEW LIFE.

in this world, our life-span is calculated to be 'three score and ten' - That is: if we don't fall victim to any one of the long list of things that can terminate it, at any moment, of each day that we live.   This is a very short time in the time-scale and It passes very quickly.   The path that we travel on earth is full of problems set to test our integrety and judgement - rich or poor, begger or king - with no exeption.

From the dawn of time it would seem that human-beings have felt,  instinctively, that there must be a God in control somewhere.   When they could not find him they substituted, what seemed to them, the most likely candidate for this office, or made one of their own. 

As Christian's we believe that 2,000 years ago God sent his only son,  Jesus Christ,  to live with us.   He taught us the way to live,  how to pray, and finally,  gave up his life to death on the cross , to save us from our sins.   That our sins might be forgiven, so that we might, one day, go to live with him in heaven, to start a new, eternal life: Where love, beauty and contentment , far beyond our wildest imagination, awaits.

Death is not the end of life, but the begining of a new life,  with Jesus,  in Heaven.   When we die,  our soul leaves its earthly body and 'walks through the valley of the shadow of death.'   Jesus waits to greet us, (by name).   He talks to us and we are filled with a love and peace beyond all understanding.

Our admitance to heaven, is dependant upon our belief and acceptence of God The Father,  and of Jesus Christ his only son (two as in one).  Our love for each other. And our forgiveness of all who have sinned against us.   As laid out in The Lords Prayer.
