NEXT MEETING
Monday 15th March 2010. at 7.30pm Church House Gorsty Hill Tean
There remain a handful of volunteers from all three churches. The organised walks are always popular. At the last meeting we discussed the possibility of sharing social events in a non church-linked building. Checkley Village Hall has been provisionally booked for a shared meal on Friday 11th June
A Barn Dance, date to be arranged. An Open Air Service by the Memorial and a Picnic Tea in Tean Village Hall, at 3.00pm on Sunday 22nd of August
Community Café and Retail base for Fair Trade goods and crafts, and Good Quality Hand Made Items. Operating on a full time basis and to serve as a focal point for the village. (We are pursuing the possibility of the now defunct Youth Café. (Initial enquiries have been positive).
None... of these visions and ideas can go ahead if they are not needed or wanted.
