Ipstones

Ipstones Methodist Church:

Ipstones Methodist Church has been a part

of the community of Ipstones sinse 1861.

143 years later,  methodism in Ipstones is

alive and well.   Our church family is made

up of people from 3 months of age to 90+.

Methodists have been active in Ipstones

sinse about 1790,  in both the Wesleyan

and Primative varieties,  but the congreation

received a boost in the 1850's during a

mining boost,  which brought many miners

to the village.
